We are so grateful for our community
It takes a whole community to support our organization. From community sponsors and thrift store patrons, to staff and volunteers (more about that here). We are grateful for every single person, and we would not be able to do what we do without you.
To give everyone an opportunity to donate, we created 5 ways to offer your support:
The Gladys Groves Copeland Animal Shelter is mainly funded through donations and the proceeds from fundraising events. As we are a registered charity, all donations are tax deductible.
You can offer your monetary donations by:
- Sending your donation through CanadaHelps.org
- Sending an email money transfer (EMT) – please call us for an email address
- Visiting or calling the shelter to make a donation by VISA or MASTERCARD
Animal Supply Donations
We can never have enough of the basics: food, treats, toys, or litter.
We can also use any blankets that you may not need – our furry critters will appreciate the attention when you drop these items off at the shelter.
The “human” critters will appreciate donations of paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, Javex bleach, and dryer sheets. Anything that helps keep the shelter clean!
You can see our running wish list by clicking the button below.
Thrift Store Donations
The Clarenville Co-op
We have a number of community patrons who contribute by using our account number at the local Co-op. We can use these donated points to redeem in-store when we need to pick up supplies!
If you’d like to donate your points to the Clarenville Area SPCA, let the cashier know that you’d like to put them on account #9000.
When you drop off your recyclables at KC Recycling, there is a bin labelled “SPCA”. You won’t have to wait in line or to have your items counted, and your recyclable refund will be credited to the SPCA account.
