Meet Charlie!
DOB: Oct 24/2022, 1.5 Years Old
Charlie is such a beautiful boy that we think will be scooped up in no time! He is a very sweet and loving dog. He is a mixed breed, Shepherd/Collie/Malamute/Husky/Setter. Charlie’s weight was 75lbs August 2023. He is a bit bigger now maybe 85-90lbs. He has a beautiful soft and fluffy coat which makes for a great hugging buddy.
He does have a touch of separation anxiety and is currently on medication to help him relax. His previous owner said that his next home should be with someone who is home more and not working 8 plus hour days.
Charlie is a great dog and has a great temperament. He will need to go with someone who has the means to keep this active boy mentally stimulated. He would benefit from having a back yard to run and play in and going for regular walks.
Charlie will be good to go to a home with other dogs as he loves to play with other dogs. Of course a meet and greet would have to happen first. He would be ok to live with cats as he did in his original home with no issues. We are thinking school aged children for Charlie would be best as he can jump up sometimes and could knock a young child down without even realizing it.
