Meet Stevie!

He was tested FIV+

He will have to go to a single cat home or an FIV+ home.

For those of you who want a bit of info on FIV+ cats:

Many FIV+ cats can live normal lifespans. These days, it is not unusual to find FIV+ cats reaching 15 years or more.

FIV+ means that your cat has been infected by the virus, but it may be years, if ever, before the cat develops the clinical signs referred to as Feline AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome of cats). Just being diagnosed with the FIV virus does not mean your cat has feline AIDS.

FIV is only contagious among cats and difficult to transmit. It is spread primarily through bite wounds. The virus is transmitted via the saliva of an FIV+ cat when it bites deep into the tissue of another cat. Casual, non-aggressive contact does NOT spread the virus.

Stevie is most likely a middle aged and he is very friendly. He is a very sweet boy and just loves attention from everyone. He would do well with children of any age and he has had no issues with any cats at the shelter so far.  He did have some bad teeth that were removed when he went to get neutered. He is such a handsome boy that would make a great addition to any family.

He is neutered and up to date on vaccines, deworming and flea treatment.
