Poor Penelope!

We believe Penelope was left outside of our shelter in the freezing cold a few weeks ago. She was seen outside the thrift store by our staff on the 22th of January. So we set a trap cage for each day after that but there was no sign of the her until 1 week later. Thankfully, this time she was caught and brought inside! By this time, due to the extreme cold weather and wind chill, the damage was already done to her ears. Penelope's ears were frostbitten and she has lost about half of each ear. On top of her poor ears, she is very thin. After being checked out by our vet, we're putting her at 9 months old to a 1 year.

Penelope must have been left outside by some cruel person, as we can't see why she was never claimed. She was obviously owned, as she is very social, loving and friendly. She is warm and safe at the SPCA but a caring forever home for this precious cat is what she needs.

Penelope is tugging at everyone's heartstrings, come meet her and we know she'll do the same to you!
