Karen (we love her name) was brought in to our shelter and she was very pregnant. Back then COVID 19 was not a thing and two of our regular visitors came in to see her. They choose her name and it stuck. Karen is so grateful that she was in our care because it was no time before she had just ONE single kitten. Her little girl has a foster home and Karen hopes that she will be the next cat in line to find a forever home.
Karen is a loving cat and thinks that there is no better place than with loving humans. She is currently spending some time in a foster home and she loves to lay with them on the couch and on the bed. She is sharing her space with a small dog and they do well together. We think that a cat friendly dog would be just fine with her. Keep in mind that most animals will need some adjustment time. She is also sharing her space with another cat but we think that a home without cats would suit her best. She is more of a dog person :) We think that a home with younger children would be fine for her as well. When little ones would visit her, Karen liked it best sleeping in the same bed as them. Karen wants nothing more than to find a home to call her own. She understands that there are a lot of sweet kittens out there but she wants you to consider adult cats as well. After all there wouldn't be any little ones without mommy cats.
Karen has been spayed, vaccinated and she has received a flea-treatment and de-wormer. Karen is currently in a foster home while waiting for her forever family to find her. She is forever grateful to be in a home, snacking on muffins and enjoying extra love. Please consider adopting an adult cat today. Karen would love a home that gives of head scratches freely, a home that allows her to cuddle on the couch, and a home that has a window seat.
