UPDATE: Adoption fee paid for be a loving Clarenville SPCA supporter.
This is Dolly,
This stunning calico-tortie cat is looking for a new home to call her own. Dolly is 8 years young and has a lot of life to live still. With kitten seasons just a month away Dolly hopes that she will not be overlooked because of her age. Adult cats are great additions to your family as you already know their personality, they enjoy a nice weekend in, and they appreciate the love that goes into a home cooked meal.
Dolly came to us by no fault of her and we hope that her stay here will be a short one. Dolly is sweet but just a little unsure of her surroundings at the moment. She is loving the human attention that she is getting. She is used to being an only cat so having so many shelter-cat roommates at once will take some adjusting. Having said that Dolly is doing well with the adjustment. We can tell that she would like to have her humans all to herself. She does not fight with other cats, she just keeps her distance. She is too sweet to fight!
She is truly stunning in person and we can already tell that she loves a good nap, so a comfy bed or couch is a must for her. We think that she would do best with school aged children or younger if they have experience with animals as we are just getting to know her. We are not sure how she would react to a dog at the moment as we do not have any at the shelter.
Dolly is looking for a loving family to call her own and we hope that with you likes and shares that we can make that wish come true. Dolly has been so kindly taken in by a foster family and they have great things to say about her. She enjoys cuddles and affection and thinks that the cat house they have for her is just awesome. She took no time to adjust to her new surrondings and her foster family thinks that she would make the adjustment to any family easily.
Dolly is spayed, vaccinated, and has received a flea treatment and de-wormer.
