Closed for Thanksgiving

Please note that our thrift store will be closed on Monday, October 14 for Thanksgiving. We would like to thank you for your continued support and we hope that you enjoy this time with you friends and family.

Our shelter will still be open so that you can visit our animals. We are located at 125 Huntley Drive in Shoal Harbour.

Recycling for Rescues

Do you have a few bags of bottles and cans kicking around? Why not drop them off to the Green Depot on Tilley's Road and place them in our SPCA bin. There are no line ups, just simply step inside walk 50 steps and place your recycleables in our bin. Each small donation makes a huge impact on the level of care that we can provide to animals in need!

If you have a large collection of recycleables and need help getting them to the depot just send us an email and we would be happy to help you during our regualr operational hours.

T-Shirts With a Kind Message

We have new merchandise and it has an important message.

With bold and fun colors, people won’t miss the Be Kind To Animals message. Sizes range from toddler to petite adult in this style and we thought that pink and blue would make the perfect colors for your little ones as well.

For all the rescue moms and dads out there why not shout it from the roof tops that Shelter Pets Cuddle Better. This subtle but true message is the purrfect way to help spread the opt to adopt message. Sizes run from small to extra-extra large.

Volunteer Appreciation Week

This year we have had our best turn out to date and we have many people to thank. Our shelter simply would not fuction without the continued support of our dedicated thrift store staff, our evening volunteers, our snow removal crew, our Christmas sale helpers, our bake sale experts, and so on and so on. The list is endless and I know that we have missed people as well.
