Meet Abby!!!

She is an 11-year-old Pomeranian Mix that is looking for a new furever home. She originally came to our care when her owner went into palliative care. Abby is a little on the chunky side at 30lbs.

She is a super sweet little girl that gets attached to her owner very quickly and loves to snuggle. She loves to be up on her back in your arms pretty much ALL the time. She will stare and beg to come up and it is to the point where we can hardly get any work done here haha LOL

Abby is pee pad and outdoor trained. She would benefit from a home that her owners are home most of the time because that is what she is used to. She seems to love going in the car, sitting front seat in a comfy bed.

She is great with dogs and cats. We think an adult only/retired person(s) would be the best fit for her!

Abby is SPAYED and needs to have some teeth pulled. Her dental is booked at Clarenville Vet for January 6/2026. Abby has Glaucoma in both her eyes. It is most serious in her left eye and she is currently taking eye drops to help. Eye removal is only necessary if the eye starts to cause her pain and discomfort.

She received her first DA2PP vaccine, Interceptor Plus deworming and Revolution flea treatment.

Please note that our shelter is open to the public Monday – Saturday, 11am – 4pm. Adoptions will operate by appointment only.
