Meet Chance!

This handsome boy came to us of no fault of his own. He would love nothing better then a furever home to love and cherish him. Chance is a medium-large boy weighing 52lbs. He is apparently 16 years old in the body of a much younger dog. He looks like he is always smiling and is a very friendly boy. He is housetrained & great in the home. He is still very active for his age and loves to play with toys and sniff around the dog yard. Chance is a very affectionate boy and loves to talk and cuddle up for a snuggle or head rub on your lap. He loves to be with people and very content when up with staff or volunteers.

He has been great with children coming to the shelter. We have tried him with cats and other dogs here at the shelter and he is great with both!

Chance had an Interceptor Plus deworming and he is DA2PP vaccinated. He was NEUTERED prior to his arrival to our shelter. He has been to the vet for exam and basic bloodwork. The vet couldn’t believe his age! The only thing is his old man cough which is totally normal for older dogs.

We would love to see him adopted to a furever retirement home but even a permanent foster home would get him out of the shelter and the kennel that he does not like. A person to cuddle and love every day is just what he needs.
