Meet Roxy!
Female, 1 Year Old
Roxy just came to our shelter in search for a new home. She is a very pretty girl and absolutely loves people. She is an unregistered Rottweiler weighing in at about 60lbs. She could probably use another few pounds to bring her to a healthier weight.
She was already in a trial home with another dog and a cat. She started to resource guard and act very jealous with the other dog. She did not leave the cat alone chasing her all over the house. By herself she is the perfect dog, very sweet & affectionate. She just wants all the attention to herself.
We want her next home to be permanent so Roxy will have to be an only pet in her next home. She plays well with Jasper here, but they have had some heated moments. Once she is spayed things may change but we cannot guarantee it.
Roxy is an active girl and will need someone that will help her burn off some of that energy. She is a very friendly girlie that craves attention from people. We think older children would be best for Roxy to live with or just an adult home. She does need to learn some basic manners that were never taught as a younger puppy. Ex: Walking on a leash and kitchen manners (stealing food and accessible garbage LOL). She is only young which is still considered to be a puppy in large breed dogs.
Roxy has received her first DA2PP vaccine and Interceptor Plus deworming. Her SPAY is booked for November 5/2025. This is the earliest date as she is currently in heat!
