Meet Coby!

Coby is about 12-13 years old and is the sweetest guy. He is Polydactyl and we have a pic to show above 🙂 He unfortunately had to come to us after his owner went to hospital with medical issues. Coby seems to be adjusting to shelter living pretty quickly and has made himself right at home here in his comfy bed. A retirement home would just be wonderful for him!

Coby was to the vet for an exam and full bloodwork. All was good except his t4 came back with hyperthyroidism. He is currently taking 2 pills a day for that and looking better every day! He takes the pills very easily in wet food, no fuss at all. Lots of cats/dogs end up with thyroid trouble but is is super manageable with pills and nothing to worry about.

He has been fully FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed & flea treated. He was FeLV/FIV tested Negative & NEUTERED May 14/2025.

Coby is only now learning to interact with cats at the shelter. He was an only pet in his last home. He never lived with children either but we see no issues with that as he is so calm and loving.

Please note that our shelter is open to the public Monday – Saturday, 11am – 4pm. Adoptions will operate by appointment.
