Meet Buddy!

Sadly, he came to us after his owner went into hospital. He is 14 years old. Buddy is a Sheltie Mix and is only 22lbs, even though he looks bigger when you see him in person. There was no family to care for him so he is now looking for a retirement home. Buddy is a great well-behaved dog and would make a great addition to any family. He is a bit on the timid side but we all love him here!!!

We think he would be ok with other dogs and cats too but where he is timid it seems that he is more scared of cats. We would not want to overwhelm him in a home with too many other animals. Just him and his owner would be ideal as that is all he ever knew.

After he warms up to you he is a very affectionate boy. He likes to give kisses and lay in you lap as long as you will let him.

He is NEUTERED, DA2PP vaccinated and has received an interceptor plus deworming. He was also seen by a vet. They did bloodwork and x-ray and everything was good there. The only thing noticed is that he is deaf.
