Meet Teddy!

Teddy is a 6–7-year-old Chihuahua Mix and is only 6-7lbs. He is here at the shelter looking for a new home to no fault of his own. He is a very sweet and cuddly boy. He is great back in his own room and does not make a sound. Teddy is a lap/arm dog, he loves to be up with people ALL the time. Teddy went for a ride in car on Saturday and loved it. He even got a pup patty from A & W LOL

Teddy is house trained and will pee on a pee pad if left for a long period of time. Teddy also only eats home cooked food. He does not seem to like any dog food we offered him. We have been cooking him up meals of beef/turnip/carrots and chicken/turnip/carrots. He also loves wieners, bologna and meats of any kind.

We were told that he does not like other dogs and that he never lived with cats. We can test him with cats if needed before going off to a new home. We think he would be fine with school aged children that will respect his boundaries.

Teddy has his NEUTER appointment booked for July 31/2024 that will be done at our expense only if he is brought to this appointment at The Clarenville Vet. He received his first DA2PP vaccine and had an Interceptor Plus deworming.
