Meet Marty!
We are told she is between 6-7 years old. She came to us after her original owner passed away. When Marty arrived, we noticed something was not right so off to the vet she went. After a lengthy exam the vet pointed it out to be Hyperesthesia Syndrome. Essentially this is sensitivity/stimulation issues.
Marty is a very happy cat and seems to be unbothered at all by her disorder. She is very clean and will always use her litter box, she eats and drinks normally, she absolutely LOVES to play with toys on a string and she loves to be around people. She is definitely one of those cats that when you meet you will fall in love with her as most of the staff and volunteers here has already <3
She has been good with other cats and even seems to be very fascinated by them. She met a large dog at the vet clinic and wan unbothered by her too. We think older children would be better as she is sensitive to sounds and sudden touches.
She is FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed & flea treated. She is SPAYED and enjoys being an indoor kitty only. Marty is just the cutest with her round belly, short tail and legs, big eyes and her cow patches all over her body. We absolutely love her to pieces!
