Meet Groot,

He has been with us since March. He is our 3rd longest shelter resident. He came in as a stray from Clarenville but was never claimed.

He is a very handsome cat & has made a lot of progress since he first came to the shelter. We think he is a young cat maybe around a year old.

He is ok with cats he is in a room with and will now allow us to pet him. A kitty companion should be okay for him once he gets used to them.

He enjoys hanging out in the catios taking in the sunshine & he loves treat tubes, temptations & wet food. He will come in to the kitchen in the mornings for his wet food. He has not been tested with dogs and school aged children should be okay as long as they respect his personal space.

He is FVRCP vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed and is FELV/FIV tested & Neutered!

Please note that our shelter is open to the public Monday – Saturday, 11am – 4pm. Adoptions will operate by appointment.
