Meet Froggie!

She came to us truly as a blessing to say the least. She had a pelvic injury and she could have easily perished outside if no one found her in time. We are so happy that she came into the shelter!

Froggie is probably the sweetest kitty we have here now. Everyone absolutely LOVES her. She loves to be petted and will purr up a storm. We think she is only young, between 1-2 years old.

She seems to be fine with other cats so far. We are recommending a quieter home as she continues to recover from her pelvic injury. She is recovering so quickly and we think she will be running around in no time! Froggie has no trouble getting around on her own and she always uses the litter box. She will not require any special care.

She is FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated. Froggie will be SPAYED when the vet recommends that she is up for the surgery. We will also have her FIV/FeLV tested as well.

If you want to add this little lady to your family click the link under step 3 to fill out our adoption application. Remember that you can choose to Foster or Adopt. She would benefit from a foster home if you didn’t want to commit right now!

Please note that our shelter is open to the public Monday – Saturday, 11am – 4pm. Adoptions will operate by appointment.

Nov 13/23: Felicity brought straight to Clarenville Vet. He did X-Rays and said she had multiple fractures in her pelvis/hip. Said to give Metacam for a few days to see if she could use litter on her own. Said surgery may be needed.

Nov 29/23: Vet visit at Community Vet for second opinion. Maxina said no surgery needed in her opinion. Cat walks around fine and injury will heal on it’s own over time. Recommended 1kg daily dose of Metacam for one month.
