Meet Sasha,
 
She is 10-years old and sadly is looking for a new home as her owner just passed away. She was well cared for and a loved family pet.
 
She is a friendly, affectionate cat and would be okay with other cats in her new home as she did live with her sister Mittens and is also good with other cats here at the shelter. She loves to hang out with her peeps and gives endless sandpaper kisses.
 
She is SPAYED, fully FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated. She is a bit on the plump side right now but that is just more of her to love.

We have recently learned that Sasha is diabetic and will require insulin twice a day. It is in the form of a pen and is very easy to give. She takes it like a champ.

Please note that our shelter is open to the public Monday – Saturday, 11am – 4pm. Adoptions will operate by appointment only.

June 27th/23- owned by Irene Horsley-deceased.  Brought in by Gilda Lodge, April’s mother in law. They are spayed records at the Community Vet. Approx 10 yrs old.

Dewormed: June 28th/23

Vaccinated: June 27th/23, July 29th/23

Revolution: June 27th/23

Oct 30th/23-Vet visit. Diabetic stayed at the vet for 1 week to be monitored for hypoglycemia.

Nov 22nd/23-Sugars checked. Insulin stays the same. 

Jan 3oth/24-Sugars checked- normal range ,needs 2 teeth pulled.

Feb 13th/23- Had 8 teeth pulled & a cleaning. Pain meds given.
