Meet Milo!

This big handsome guy is a 3-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He is slimmer, taller on the legs and lighter in colour then a Chocolate Lab. Milo is a very friendly guy that just seems to have had some poor luck, no fault of his own, with finding a furever home so far.

Milo is still getting used to being in a kennel. He does not seem to like being left alone but so far, he is not destructive at all. Milo loves his food and treats. Although he is a puller he does enjoy going for walks. We are sure he would love to get to a pond for a swim ASAP too!

He is not neutered yet but will be ASAP.  He had an interceptor dewormer and a DA2PP vaccine. We are told that he is good with cats and he did live with children. We are unsure of how he will be with other dogs at the moment. A meet with another dog would be a must before considering adoption.

If you want to add this handsome dude to your family, please click the link (Step 3) to our adoption application below.

Please note that our shelter is open to the public Monday- Saturday 11am – 4pm. Adoptions will operate by appointment only.
