Harlin came to us after a change in his family's living situation. As we know that Harlin does not get along with cats, a home without cats is a must for him.
We have learned a lot about Harlin since he has arrived and we can now see that he loves to spend time with his pals here at the shelter. Remo has been adopted but he and Harlin made many trips to the dog park while he was here. Remo has found a home so now Harlin has a new friend and this time it is a female dog Nova. We know that Harlin plays well with dogs his size or those a little larger. He likes to play ball but you better be fast if you want to get it from him.
Harlin seems to have some trust issues with people while kennelled her at the shelter so he will need a patient and understanding home, a home that will make him feel safe when company comes over. He is scared being in a kennel and he shows us that by barking and hiding his tail between his legs. Once out of his kennel his personality shines and he can be himself.
He does know his basic commands and will need to spend more time socializing with people. Once he trusts his people we are sure he will be the best companion ever for a very lucky family. Harlin enjoys spending time in the dog park here at the shelter, he is very playful and enjoys the chance to stretch his legs. Harlin will need daily walks to keep healthy and happy, a tired dog is a happy dog.
Harlin is in need of a foster home and we hope that it may be YOU. A foster home would give him the chance to experience life outside of a kennel, to experience the great outdoors on a more consistent basis, and to experience the love of his human foster family.
Please note that we supply all food, leashes, support, etc when you foster one of our shelter residents.
This guy is a heartbreaker for sure and has that sweet face that just pulls at your heartstrings. Although Harlin is 8 yrs old he still has a lot of love to give to a new family.
