Valerie

I have been named Valerie!

“Well sometimes I go out by myself
And I look across the water”

I was found in Clarenville down on Marine Drive. The song quote seemed perfect seeing I was found on Marine Drive! I am a young calico kitty and I am very petite. The people who brought me in were genuinely nice and just wanted me to be safe and sound in nice comfy bed with lots of food and water.

Upon arrival at the shelter I had to be rushed to the vet for an emergency spay. I had a condition called “pyometra” which is an infection of the uterus which can sometimes happen to female cats who are not spayed! Thank god I was found in time and can now be adopted into a loving home.

Valerie has been combo tested for FELV & FIV and has had her first vaccine, flea treatment and de-worming. We are unsure if she is good with other animals or children at this time but we hope to get to know her better in the coming days!

If you think this lovely lady would be the perfect fit for your family, please click on the "ADOPT" button at the bottom of the page to go to our website to fill out an adoption or foster application.

Please note that due to the current COVID 19 health crisis our shelter is still closed to the public, but we will allow adoptive families to come into the shelter to meet their new family member. Once inside there is a designated area for you to stand to do your adoption contract & payment.
