This big guy had to recently come back to the shelter due to allergies in his home. Turnip was adopted from the shelter as a kitten and is now 4 years old. He did live with another cat in his home (Carrott) and children but he is afraid of young children. Maybe a home with older children would be okay and another cat. He did not live with dogs in his home either so a home without dogs is a must for him.
Turnip is a bit on the shy side but is a friendly boy. Turnip will have his first vaccine, flea treatment and de-worming before going to another home. He is a big ole teddy bear with a lot of love left to give at another family.
If you would like to give Turnip or his friend Carrott a home, please click on the "ADOPT" button to go to our website to fill out an adoption or foster application. Remember we provide all items needed for fostering.
Please note that due to the current COVID 19 health crisis our shelter is still closed to the public, but we will allow adoptive families to come into the shelter to meet their new family member. Once inside there is a designated area for you to stand to do your adoption contract & payment.
