This sweet one-year old male is new to the shelter and is still a little shy. He is s a loving house cat that is looking for a new home as there has been a change in his owners living situation. He is loving and likes to cuddle but it may take a trip or two to Allisons Cuddle room for him to come around. We think that Taz has the most beautiful eyes and that he will win you over in no time.
We are told that Taz does well with dogs, but we are not sure how he would do with other cats just, yet He would love a home for the holidays and a home with children would be great for him. Like all sheleter residents Taz has been flea treated, vaccinated, and de-wormed with an appointment to be neutered just next week.
The story behind the name Taz is that he actually responds to Tia. When he was just a little kitten his owner was told that Taz was a girl, so they called her Tia. From time to time we rename cats when they get a new start in life and that is why he is now Taz. We know that Taz will fit into a home very easily and we hope that his stay will be a short one, we have reassured him that being a black cat won't matter and that people will see his large, loving personality first.
