Meet Spruce! He was tested FIV+
He will have to go to a single cat home or an FIV+ home.

For those of you who want a bit of info on FIV+ cats:

Many FIV+ cats can live normal lifespans. These days, it is not unusual to find FIV+ cats reaching 15 years or more.

FIV+ means that your cat has been infected by the virus, but it may be years, if ever, before the cat develops the clinical signs referred to as Feline AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome of cats). Just being diagnosed with the FIV virus does not mean your cat has feline AIDS.

FIV is only contagious among cats and difficult to transmit. It is spread primarily through bite wounds. The virus is transmitted via the saliva of an FIV+ cat when it bites deep into the tissue of another cat. Casual, non-aggressive contact does NOT spread the virus.

He was originally found in Musgravetown but never claimed. He is here now looking for his furever home. He is a very quiet boy, but he loves to be petted! We think he could be that sooky lap cat that you have been waiting for!

He is now neutered and up to date on vaccines, deworming and flea treatment. We think he would do better in a home with no young children and no dogs as they may easily frighten him.
