This sweet girl has come to us as her elderly owner can no longer care for her. She was loved dearly and we hope that her new family will allow her the time to adjust to living in a new place. She was with her previous family for 6 years so the change is understandable a little scary for her. Having said that she is doing amazing at the shelter and loves attention. She is quick to come out from under her cozy kennel blankets once you enter the room. She thinks there is nothing better than a scratch under the chin and some Temptation treats!!
Rosa knows that the odds are that she will have to wait for a new home as older cats are often over looked when there are kittens at the shelter but she wants you to remember that she has just as much love to give, that she is as deserving of a second chance, and that she will reward you with purrs and gratitude for the rest of her life.
Rosa is good with children but she has not lived with other animals. Rosa has also always been an indoor cat. She has been vaccinated and she has been given a flea and de-wormer treatment. She has an appointment to be spayed on the 10th and is grateful as she knows that this will increase her chances of finding a new home.
Please do not overlook the older shy cats as they have just as much love to give. If you are interested in adopting Rosa, please click on the "ADOPT" button below to fill out an adoption application.
