Piper is a young cat, who arrived at the shelter a few weeks ago with her four kittens in tow. Since being taken into our care, Piper and her kittens went into a foster home so she could continue to raise her babies in some peace and quiet. We believe that Piper is only a young girl herself, maybe 2+ years so she is relieved that she won't have to spend a lifetime birthing and raising kittens. Piper is a very peite and curious girl, investigating any new smells or places to jump and laze around. Because she is raising kittens and that tends to make momma cats very protective, we haven't introduced her to any other cats or dogs yet. She is a pretty social cat though, so we have high hopes for her! Piper's kittens will be ready for their homes on the third weekend in January, so that means Piper will be too!
