She is a very lucky girl to still be with us. She came into us when her owner took her to the vet to be euthanized because she was peeing around. As it turned out she had a condition called "pyrometria" which is an infection of the uterus. It sometimes can happen to unspayed female cats. This can be fixed by getting the cat spayed.
Molasses went to the vet asap and was spayed. She is now resting comfortably and is available for adoption. We don't have much information about her only that she did live with another cat in her previous home. We are not sure about dogs or children. She is a very quiet girl and likes to hide under her blankets here at the shelter, who doesn't want to stay cozy with the colder weather coming.
We are happy to say that Molasses is currently living in a foster home and she is enjoying the comforst of home sweet home. She enjoys afternoon naps, a fully belly, and the attention her foster family gives her. She is adjusting well and she has high hopes that her wait to find a new forever home is a short one.
We hope her luck continues and she finds a new forever home very quickly.
