Mia came to us through no fault of her own as her owner had a change in her living situation. Mia is described as being sweet and friendly and she loves to cuddle. Mia gets along well with our current shelter dog Lila. It did not phase her at all when they came in contact with each other. Because of this we think that Mia would do very well in a home with a cat-friendly dog.
She is s sweet little cat, very quiet mannered. She would do well with another cat, a cat friendly dog, and or children. She does understand that children would share thier snacks with her (all cat approved of course). Often times black cats get overlooked because they are black but in most cases they have very sweet personailties and make awesome pets!
We hope that Mia's personality will win over the stigma that black cats have, she deserves a loving home and we hope that she will find one soon. She has been at the shelter for almost 6 months (September marks her 6 months) and although she is doing well here, it is not the same as having a loving family to greet in the mornings.
She is combo tested, neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and treated with revolution.
